As a Staff Software Engineer, you will help design and build advanced data platforms that power some of the world’s most demanding AI and analytics environments. You’ll work with a team of world-class engineers to develop scalable, secure, and intelligent systems that drive innovation across industries such as healthcare, finance, research, and autonomous technology. This position offers a hands-on technical role within a fast-paced, high-impact environment where your expertise will directly shape the future of AI infrastructure and data management.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize data management platforms and software-defined storage solutions.
  • Collaborate in the full product lifecycle — from planning and design to coding, testing, and release.
  • Build and enhance REST APIs and CLIs for managing storage and computation resources.
  • Integrate authentication and authorization systems with identity providers such as Okta.
  • Develop solutions for distributed systems, including containerized services, databases, and data pipelines.
  • Apply deep technical knowledge of Linux networking, filesystems, and storage protocols.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development tools, infrastructure, and testing practices.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure high system reliability and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience in Go, Python, or C++, ideally in distributed or storage systems.
  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and identity management systems.
  • Experience with key/value and timeseries databases, containers, and microservices architecture.
  • Advanced Linux expertise, including networking and performance optimization.
  • Solid conceptual knowledge of file, block, and object storage technologies.
  • Proven ability to deliver features independently and in collaboration with globally distributed teams.
  • Experience developing and testing RESTful APIs for large-scale infrastructure.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with IPMI, Redfish, or hardware management interfaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving, innovation, and communication skills, with a focus on quality and scalability.
