Senior Data Engineer (Remote - US)

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced data infrastructure supporting large-scale analytics and business intelligence. You’ll architect scalable ETL pipelines, manage multi-cloud data environments, and ensure the reliability and accessibility of critical data systems. This position offers the opportunity to make a strategic impact by guiding data best practices, mentoring junior engineers, and driving continuous improvement in performance and automation. Accountabilities:

• Architect and maintain robust, scalable ETL pipelines to efficiently ingest, transform, and deliver data across diverse sources.
• Ensure strong data integrity and governance through schema design, validation frameworks, and proactive monitoring.
• Use advanced SQL and Python (including Pandas) to develop efficient data processing and automation scripts.
• Design, build, and manage multi-cloud data platforms, including AWS (S3, Redshift, Athena, Lambda), Snowflake, and BigQuery.
• Partner with analysts, strategists, and leadership to translate business requirements into reliable data solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior data engineers, setting standards for quality, documentation, and scalability.
• Lead vendor integrations and ensure seamless alignment between internal and external data systems.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance system performance, scalability, and usability through innovative solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–7+ years of proven experience in data engineering, building and scaling large, production-grade data systems.
• Expertise in SQL and Python, with strong knowledge of performance optimization and data manipulation libraries.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data tools (S3, Redshift, Athena, Lambda) and familiarity with multi-cloud setups.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, schema design, and ETL best practices for enterprise-scale solutions.
• Strong ability to design secure, reliable pipelines and troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
• Experience leading data projects, mentoring teams, and setting technical standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to collaboration.
• Bonus: Experience with dbt, Jinja, Snowflake Worksheets, or BI tools like Looker Studio.
• Exposure to digital marketing analytics or similar data-driven industries is a plus.
