Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript) - AI/ML (Remote - US)

In this role, you will lead the development of AI/ML-powered features that enhance user interaction and data insights within a high-performance cloud database platform. You will work across the full technology stack, designing robust backend services, scalable APIs, and intuitive frontend interfaces using TypeScript and React. Accountabilities:

• Design and implement AI-powered features across the full technology stack, from backend inference services to responsive frontend interfaces.
• Develop scalable APIs connecting database capabilities with AI/ML inference systems and external/internal AI services.
• Build intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that make complex AI functionality accessible and actionable.
• Integrate and maintain AI/ML models in production systems, including monitoring, versioning, and evaluation.
• Implement ecosystem integrations, ensuring seamless compatibility with popular AI/ML frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive feature development and technical alignment.
• Ensure high-quality code, performance, and reliability standards across all features.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in production environments.
• Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and React for frontend development.
• Backend development experience in TypeScript or Python, with emphasis on API design and service architecture.
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies, including inference systems, model deployment, or related frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of features from concept to production with minimal supervision.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Nice to have: experience with data visualizations, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), database systems, and ClickHouse experience.
