Senior Software Engineer, AI - Remote - EMEA

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and scaling AI-powered features within a fast-growing SaaS environment. This position involves designing and implementing services that bring artificial intelligence to life in real-world user experiences. You’ll collaborate with product, platform, and design teams to build APIs, backend services, and integrations that make AI an integral part of customer workflows. Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and optimize scalable backend services and APIs that embed AI into customer-facing features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, AI-driven user experiences.
• Work closely with platform and integration teams to ensure seamless connectivity between AI components and existing SaaS systems.
• Implement robust observability, monitoring, and error-handling practices for AI services in production.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the AI integration stack, including TypeScript SDKs, MCP servers, and LLM orchestration tools.
• Ensure that AI-enabled features deliver tangible improvements in automation, personalization, and customer experience.

• 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack software engineering, ideally in a SaaS context.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js or Python, with hands-on experience building APIs and backend systems.
• Familiarity with LLM/AI tools within the JavaScript or Python ecosystem (e.g., LangChain, Vercel AI SDK, MCP servers).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to integrate AI services into production environments.
• Experience working with Python-based AI systems and bridging multiple tech stacks.
• Bonus: frontend skills in React and experience designing AI-powered user interfaces.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
