Senior Software Developer (Remote - US)

In this role, you will be a key contributor to modernizing complex software systems and supporting the migration of multiple applications across diverse platforms. You will work closely with engineering teams to design, develop, integrate, and maintain secure and scalable software solutions, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices. Your work will directly support mission-critical applications, enabling efficiency, resilience, and high performance. This position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise across full-stack development, DevOps pipelines, cloud-native architectures, and secure application design while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, remote environment.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and utilities, ensuring alignment with modernization goals and user requirements.
• Perform integration testing, debugging, and validation of software solutions, adhering to secure coding and cybersecurity principles.
• Collaborate with systems analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders to define application requirements, interfaces, and performance criteria.
• Contribute to DevOps pipelines including CI/CD automation, version control, and artifact management for secure and efficient software delivery.
• Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations following industry Agile and organizational best practices.
• Support operational continuity, troubleshoot production issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Participate in internal reviews, quality audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality and security.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in modern software development, including Java, JavaScript, C#, .NET, and SQL/Oracle databases.
• Proficiency with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, cloud-native architectures, and PaaS environments.
• Knowledge of secure software development principles, cybersecurity best practices, and related tools.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Office 365.
• Familiarity with front-end, back-end, and service-oriented architectures, APIs, REST/SOAP, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
• U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain base access, including NACI and FBI fingerprint checks.
