The Role: Senior Manager - Search Engine Marketing
Oceans is seeking highly ambitious candidates in Sri Lanka to become Senior Managers - Search Engine Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Proven track record working with e-commerce and at a considered purchase business.
  • Own all aspects of Google paid media buying, including but not limited to: search, shopping, media planning, pmax, and youtube.
  • Partner closely with CRO and lifecycle teams to improve cost per lead and cost per qualified actions.
  • Optimize pacing for qualified leads and lead to purchase rate for the online education business.
  • Own SEM paid acquisition for our CPG business, including the strategy and execution of paid spend.
  • Report weekly on pacing to goals, key priorities and red flags.
  • Utilize marketing analytics and data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities, optimize marketing performance, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, and other teams to ensure alignment and drive continuous improvement in marketing effectiveness.
  • Manage budget and forecasting efforts for Google paid.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in growth marketing and recommend innovative strategies to stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Be a strategic and analytical thinker with a results-driven mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in growth marketing, particularly in a remote environment.
  • Expert in all things Google paid.
  • Experience in online education or CPG/supplements is required.
  • Ability to make thoughtful, actionable recommendations under minimal structure, and quickly build consensus with senior level internal and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and drive efficient revenue growth working in-house at a high-growth consumer brand.
