This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive business impact by leveraging large-scale consumer and transactional data. You will build and operationalize predictive models, experimentation frameworks, and data-driven strategies that inform product, marketing, and operational decisions. Working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Data teams, you will turn complex datasets into actionable insights, directly influencing user engagement, personalization, and monetization efforts. The position combines hands-on modeling, strategic analysis, and mentorship, providing an environment that values experimentation, analytical rigor, and measurable results. Accountabilities:

  • Design, build, and deploy predictive and causal models to drive personalization, retention, and monetization strategies.
  • Develop and operationalize experimentation frameworks to measure the impact of product and marketing initiatives accurately.
  • Quantify and communicate business impact of key initiatives, translating complex model outputs into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to transform insights into scalable data products and intelligent systems.
  • Mentor peers and contribute to strengthening the organization’s scientific rigor, data culture, and analytical storytelling capabilities.
  • Champion best practices in model validation, reproducibility, and governance while advancing the use of AI/ML tools responsibly.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied analytics in product-driven environments.
  • Deep expertise in statistical modeling, experimental design, and causal inference.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
  • Experience with large-scale data platforms and tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and Spark.
  • Ability to communicate complex analyses to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a quantitative discipline.
  • Experience deploying ML models into production and managing model lifecycle.
  • Background in consumer technology, ad tech, or personalization systems.
  • Familiarity with privacy-preserving data modeling and compliance standards such as GDPR or CCPA.
  • Leadership or mentorship experience in analytical teams.
