Senior Back End Developer (Remote - EMEA)

Your expertise in Java and AWS will be essential to elevate performance, scalability, and reliability. Accountabilities:

• Lead the review and enhancement of a complex accounting system to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Develop and optimize robust back-end services using Java to ensure system stability and high performance.
• Design, build, and deploy cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services, including CDK and Lambda.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, maintainable, and high-quality code.
• Participate in architectural decisions and continuous improvement of development processes.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in back-end development with a proven record of successful project delivery.
• Strong command of Java and modern software engineering practices.
• Solid understanding of AWS services, particularly CDK and Lambda.
• Ability to manage complex technical challenges and deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Previous experience in accounting or payment systems is an advantage.
• Availability to start immediately with a streamlined hiring process (around two weeks).
