In this role, you will lead and deliver complex projects using a hybrid approach that combines Agile and Waterfall methodologies. You will manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder expectations, and organizational standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and business stakeholders, you will drive successful outcomes across multiple workstreams. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills to guide teams, mitigate risks, and deliver projects on time and within scope. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency, team collaboration, and business growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, milestones, deliverables, success criteria, and budgets in a hybrid Waterfall/Agile framework.
  • Lead projects through all phases of the lifecycle: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closing.
  • Oversee resource planning and allocation, working in a matrixed environment to ensure project success.
  • Provide clear program status, risks, and priorities to leadership and proactively escalate issues with solution-oriented recommendations.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and collaboration across teams.
  • Build and maintain governance practices, project documentation, and standardized delivery processes.
  • Engage stakeholders, translate business objectives into actionable plans, and provide executive-level reporting.
  • Identify, track, and resolve risks and issues, ensuring project teams have the clarity and support needed to succeed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in hybrid Waterfall/Agile environments.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master is preferred.
  • PMP or Certified Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheets, and SharePoint.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build trust-based relationships with stakeholders and align teams to business priorities.
