This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Platform Engineer, FedRAMP in the United States.
In this role, you will contribute to a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and maintaining a FedRAMP-compliant SaaS platform. You will design and implement infrastructure automation, developer tools, and software delivery pipelines that enable secure, reliable, and scalable operations. Working in a cloud-native environment, you will collaborate with remote engineers to create solutions that improve operational efficiency, developer experience, and platform reliability. This position emphasizes hands-on software engineering in infrastructure, while incorporating modern technologies such as Kubernetes, serverless architecture, Golang, and public cloud services. Your work will directly impact the performance, security, and resilience of mission-critical SaaS products.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain code for automating cloud infrastructure, software delivery pipelines, and internal platform services.
- Design and document system architecture, configurations, and processes to support distributed and asynchronous engineering teams.
- Collaborate with a remote team of engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable platform solutions.
- Implement and maintain enterprise-grade SaaS infrastructure using containers, serverless components, and orchestration technologies.
- Ensure security, compliance, and operational excellence across all platform services, aligning with FedRAMP requirements.
Requirements
- Experience automating cloud infrastructure with tools such as Pulumi or Terraform.
- Proficiency with GitHub Actions and cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
- Strong background in building and supporting enterprise SaaS products with a focus on reliability and scalability.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (Go, Python, Java, C/C++, etc.) and modern software engineering practices.
- Understanding of secure cloud design principles and operational excellence.
- Strong communication skills, bias toward action, and ability to scope and solve complex technical problems.
- Preferred: prior FedRAMP or compliance experience; advanced familiarity with Azure and related services.
