Director of Engineering (Remote - US)

We are seeking a results-driven Director of Engineering to lead distributed teams in building and scaling a modern SaaS platform with web, mobile, and desktop components. In this role, you will work closely with product stakeholders to drive innovation, integrate AI capabilities, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software. You will mentor engineering teams across multiple regions, establish best practices, and guide the technical vision of the platform. This position requires a strong balance of technical expertise, people leadership, and strategic thinking to support a rapidly evolving product in a competitive industry. You will have the opportunity to shape engineering processes, optimize workflows, and influence the user experience for enterprise clients. This is a fully remote role with collaboration across teams in the United States, Europe, and Latin America.

Accountabilities:

·         Lead, mentor, and manage geographically distributed engineering teams responsible for platform development and operation.

·         Drive the adoption and integration of AI-first strategies into platform features and engineering processes.

·         Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define solutions and solve complex technical challenges.

·         Establish and enforce best practices for system architecture, code quality, and technology adoption.

·         Oversee platform strategy, ensuring reliability, scalability, and optimal performance for enterprise clients.

·         Promote cross-team collaboration, identify efficiency opportunities, and implement workflow improvements.

·         Conduct design and code reviews, support onboarding of new technologies, and guide technical decision-making.

·         7+ years of software engineering experience and 3+ years in a management or leadership role.

·         Strong technical expertise in modern application development and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).

·         Experience integrating AI capabilities into SaaS products to enhance workflows and user experience.

·         Proven ability to lead distributed teams, mentor engineers, and drive execution across multiple projects.

·         Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.

·         Track record of delivering enterprise-grade software with emphasis on reliability, scalability, and user experience.

·         Experience in proptech, commercial real estate, or enterprise SaaS solutions is preferred.

·         Strategic mindset with the ability to influence technical vision and platform direction.
