This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage clinical studies in the CNS therapeutic area while maintaining strong relationships with sponsor clients. You will oversee project deliverables, timelines, budgets, and vendor activities, ensuring studies are executed efficiently and audit-ready. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, possesses deep clinical and operational expertise, and enjoys mentoring and guiding cross-functional teams. This position allows you to influence study outcomes, contribute to business growth, and work on complex Phase II and III studies in neurology. You will be central to ensuring high-quality execution while fostering trusted partnerships with clients.

Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of clinical study projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
  • Build and manage cross-functional study teams, delegating responsibilities and ensuring accountability of team members.
  • Maintain strong executive-level relationships with sponsor clients and act as the primary point of contact.
  • Oversee vendors including monitoring, study management, laboratories, and other service providers to ensure quality standards.
  • Ensure studies are audit- and inspection-ready, addressing findings promptly and appropriately.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Business Development, and Finance teams on project planning and execution.
  • Take on additional responsibilities across functional areas as needed to support study success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience independently managing Phase II or III clinical studies in CNS/Neurology.
  • Proven experience with sponsor or CRO-managed clinical studies.
  • Strong understanding of business factors influencing project success.
  • Superior presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with protocol development for Phase II or III studies preferred.
  • Proficiency in traditional business software and familiarity with CTMS and other clinical technology tools.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
  • Demonstrated curiosity about business beyond project management, with a positive and proactive attitude.
