Are you a confident 360 recruiter who thrives on winning new business and building lasting client relationships? A leading UK-based recruitment firm is seeking a Business Developer to drive client acquisition and expansion across international markets.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in end-to-end recruitment who wants to focus more on the client-facing and business development aspects of the role — using your industry insight to engage new clients, consult strategically, and help grow the business. You’ll work remotely from South Africa, partnering closely with delivery recruiters in the UK to provide top recruitment solutions globally.

Salary: R30 000 - R35 000 plus commission

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, engage, and secure new clients across international recruitment markets.
  • Use your recruitment experience to consult with clients, understanding their talent needs and offering tailored hiring strategies.
  • Conduct cold calls, outreach campaigns, and follow-ups to build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects.
  • Leverage tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM platforms to research, track, and manage leads.
  • Build long-term relationships with decision-makers and hiring managers in various industries.
  • Work closely with internal recruiters to ensure smooth and successful placements.
  • Present recruitment solutions and proposals confidently and persuasively.
  • Maintain detailed records of all business development activities and client communications.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven success as a 360 recruiter or in a business development role within recruitment (any industry, but international experience essential).
  • Demonstrated success in cold calling and traditional sales/outreach methods.
  • Proficient with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Reliable internet connection and personal laptop required.
