This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Anthropologie Senior Art Director in the United States.
As Senior Art Director, you will lead the 360° visual storytelling across digital and social channels, shaping a cohesive and elevated brand identity. You will conceptualize and execute high-impact campaigns, oversee editorial shoots, and guide the aesthetic direction for e-commerce, social media, and marketing initiatives. Partnering with creative leadership and cross-functional teams, you will ensure visual excellence while mentoring and managing a team of photographers, stylists, and post-production staff. Your work will influence brand perception, drive audience engagement, and elevate creative standards across all touchpoints. This is a hands-on, strategic role for a visionary leader passionate about fashion storytelling and innovative visual content.
Accountabilities
- Lead creative direction for campaigns across site, e-commerce, email marketing, and social media channels.
- Conceptualize and direct editorial photo shoots, including mood boards, casting, styling, hair/makeup, and locations.
- Develop and maintain visual guidelines for e-commerce, covering lighting, set design, color grading, image sizing, and cropping.
- Collaborate with creative leadership to refine work using feedback and performance insights.
- Conduct visual research to stay ahead of trends and evolve the brand identity with fresh ideas.
- Manage teams of photographers, stylists, and post-production staff to ensure creative cohesion and image quality.
- Partner with merchandising, marketing, and social teams to plan campaigns and maintain consistent messaging across platforms.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in art direction, design, or creative leadership within fashion retail.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, Keynote, and Capture One; bonus for video editing, animation, 3D, or AR experience.
- Strong visual storytelling ability, combining artistic vision with commercial strategy.
- Proven leadership in high-pressure photoshoots and managing on-set teams.
- Deep knowledge of fashion photography, branding, and creative concepting.
- Demonstrated success creating and directing social media campaigns on Instagram and TikTok.
- Process-oriented with the ability to streamline workflows and implement scalable creative systems.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills; proactive leader with keen attention to detail.
