Tester

Epsilon Net S.A., the largest IT group of companies in Greece and the No.1 Best Workplace in Tech 2023, is seeking for the department of R&D, a Tester.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with managers & analysts to understand the scope of projects
• Work with software developers and project support teams
• Identify business requirements
• Monitor applications and software systems (retail software)
• Follow the best practices of software testing (i.e. functional and non-functional testing)
• Write and execute user test scenarios
• Test in different software environments and design tests to mitigate risk
• Write bug reports, review documentation and provide quality assurance
• Provide objective feedback to software development project teams while presenting findings to technical and non-technical colleagues
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve, document analysis
  

Requirements:

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Proficient in Computer Skills (Windows, Office)
• Working Experience of SQL Database (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQLite, MS SQL Server)
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical mind and problem-solving attitude
  

Νice to have:

• Proven experience as a Tester or similar role
• Testing experience in ERP systems or retail software
• Familiarity with Agile methodology
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
