Technical Writer (Remote - India)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to create clear, actionable, and high-quality documentation for AI-driven projects. This role involves collaborating closely with researchers, engineers, and product teams to design instructions, guidelines, and training materials that enhance data collection and project outcomes. You will have the opportunity to influence process efficiency and knowledge sharing across multiple teams, shaping the way complex technical information is communicated. Accountabilities:

·        Design and develop task instructions, templates, and best practices for AI and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) projects.

·        Collaborate with product and research teams to define data requirements and create effective rater tasks.

·        Author, edit, and maintain rater guidelines, task design documents, and quality rubrics.

·        Develop internal training materials and knowledge bases on instruction design.

·        Translate complex technical information into clear, actionable documentation for diverse audiences.

·        Continuously review and improve documentation processes to ensure clarity, accuracy, and usability.

·        Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s in Technical Communication, Instructional Design, or a related field preferred.

·        10+ years of experience in technical writing or instructional design, ideally for HITL or rater platforms.

·        Strong understanding of task definition principles and documentation best practices.

·        Familiarity with HTML, Python, Markdown, Git, and data analysis.

·        Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver clear content for diverse audiences.

·        Experience with large-scale evaluation or crowdsourcing platforms is a plus.

·        Knowledge of AI/ML data labeling, evaluation, or continuous improvement processes is preferred.
