Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and subject matter experts to define, create, and maintain core administrator and end-user documentation.
- Develop and maintain content in a Docs-as-Code environment using tools like AsciiDoc, Git, and IntelliJ IDE.
- Translate complex technical concepts, such as identity verification, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and secure access, into easily understandable content.
- Produce clear examples, workflows, and use cases to guide users in deploying and using software effectively.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up to date throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Manage multiple documentation projects, meeting deadlines and quality standards with minimal supervision.
- Participate in global collaboration, coordinating across distributed teams and time zones.
Requirements
- 4–7+ years of experience in technical writing for complex software products.
- Proven ability to document software, preferably in identity and access management (IAM) or security domains.
- Strong understanding of administrator and end-user workflows and requirements.
- Experience in a Docs-as-Code workflow, including version control with Git and authoring in AsciiDoc or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Agile software development processes and project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent research, investigation, and learning skills to quickly understand new or evolving products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bonus: Experience documenting AI/ML concepts, mobile applications, or security software. Prior exposure to PingOne DaVinci, PingOne Protect, or PingOne Verify is advantageous.
