In this crucial role, you will be responsible for preparing and filing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will play a key role in helping our clients optimize their tax positions while adhering to all filing deadlines.

• Prepare and file accurate federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Analyze financial information and documents provided by clients.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including keeping up-to-date with changes in tax codes.
• Communicate with clients regarding tax-related matters and respond to inquiries effectively.
• Assist clients with tax planning and advice to minimize liabilities and maximize deductions.
• Conduct research on tax issues and prepare necessary documentation for tax audits.
• Collaborate with other accounting professionals within the team to support client needs.
• Maintain accurate records of tax filings and client communications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in tax preparation and filing for individuals and businesses.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance.
• Familiarity with tax preparation software (e.g., TurboTax, H&R Block, or similar tools).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a remote team environment.
• Knowledge of international tax issues is a plus.
