STEM PhDs (Computer Science) AI Trainer

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

We are seeking Computer Science PhDs to contribute to a high-impact project with a leading AI research lab. This role offers competitive pay of $65–$75/hour.

In this position, you will apply your domain expertise to craft high-quality, challenging problems that have real-world applicability and help advance frontier large language models. Your work will play a key role in shaping the next generation of AI innovation.

Ideal Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science from a top university
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent proficiency in English
• Based in U.S., Canada, UK, Australia, or New Zealand

Key Responsibilities

• Work asynchronously with a team of domain experts
• Craft, solve, and review challenging, real-world problems
• Contribute 10–20 hours per week, with potential for increased hours and project extension
• Fully remote and flexible schedule

Start Date

• Late September, with rolling application review

Interview Process

• Complete a short interview to assess domain expertise
• Paid onboarding time (up to 1 hour) including the screening process and onboarding videos if hired

Compensation & Legal Details

• Legally classified as an hourly contractor
