As a Staff Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex business challenges into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will lead end-to-end analytics initiatives, build reusable data products, and implement scalable measurement systems across teams. This role provides the opportunity to mentor stakeholders, collaborate cross-functionally, and elevate analytics capabilities throughout the organization. You will leverage advanced analytical techniques such as predictive modeling and causal inference, while fostering a data-driven culture that empowers faster and more confident decisions. Your work will directly influence both internal operations and customer-facing strategies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Accountabilities:
- Lead comprehensive analytics projects, translating business problems into data-driven solutions and actionable insights.
- Build and maintain reusable data assets, dashboards, and reporting systems to support decision-making across teams.
- Introduce and apply advanced analytical methods, including predictive modeling and causal inference.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and trustworthiness.
- Mentor colleagues and stakeholders to improve analytics capabilities and promote a data-driven culture.
- Support cross-functional teams with strategic insights that shape product and business decisions.
- Establish best practices for data governance, measurement, and analytics processes.
Requirements
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and statistical programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Superset, Looker, Tableau) and data modeling frameworks (dbt preferred).
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT workflows and orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Proven ability to deliver analytics solutions that impact business strategy and operations at scale.
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills for diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring teams or stakeholders to elevate analytics maturity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
