The Sr Product Owner collaborates with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and product development to translate strategic goals into actionable product capabilities. You will define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business needs and delivering measurable value to users. This position requires a balance of technical understanding, business insight, and customer empathy, enabling you to drive impactful outcomes. You will also participate in agile processes, guide product planning, and support beta programs that enhance product adoption and performance. This role offers a dynamic remote work environment with opportunities to influence product strategy at a high level.

Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Managers to understand roadmaps, priorities, and overall product strategy.
  • Work with engineering teams to deliver high-value, timely product releases that exceed customer expectations.
  • Define, prune, and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with changing business needs.
  • Partner with technical leadership to ensure architectural considerations are represented in the product backlog.
  • Build, document, and manage user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Assist in the management of Agile processes and participate in all phases of product planning and development.
  • Support customer Beta programs and convert feature requirements into actionable product results.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and liaison between engineering and other departments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in agile product ownership, including requirements gathering and flow modeling.
  • Experience with user story creation, documentation, and prioritization.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) credentials are a plus.
  • Strong technical understanding and attention to detail.
  • Ability to support and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Outstanding listening, written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile and SAFe frameworks.
  • Experience with business and communications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
  • Hands-on knowledge of database structures; familiarity with tools such as Aha! and TFS is a plus.
  • Experience with Identity Access Management (IAM) technologies and middleware concepts.
  • Strong customer service orientation and adaptability to changing business demands.
