Software Engineer (Remote - India)

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance software products. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance existing systems, build new components, and deliver scalable, efficient solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, experience with server-side development, and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, write unit and integration tests, and ensure applications meet high-quality standards. The engineer will also help drive technical excellence through best practices, design patterns, and continuous integration processes.

Accountabilities:

• Design component-level architecture and contribute to overall system design.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications and components.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and ensure code quality and performance.
• Support ongoing programs and troubleshoot issues in production systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improvements.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and continuous integration practices.

• BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience coding in Java, including participation in full development cycles.
• Strong knowledge of Java 17 and familiarity with design patterns.
• Experience with Spring Framework and multi-threaded programming.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, high-performance, and scalable applications is a plus.
• Experience with RDBMS, JMS, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS or equivalent) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
