Senior Tender Engineer Offshore (Remote)

As a Senior Tender Engineer Offshore, you will play a pivotal role in preparing competitive and technically sound bids for complex offshore projects. You will assess tender documents, evaluate execution methods, and calculate project costs while collaborating closely with project engineers and specialized internal teams. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, commercial insight, and strong analytical skills to develop proposals that balance feasibility, cost, and risk. You will also contribute to strategic decision-making for offshore marine projects, supporting the delivery of innovative solutions in a dynamic international environment. Occasional site visits abroad complement your office-based work, providing exposure to practical offshore operations and global project stakeholders.

Accountabilities:

• Analyse technical feasibility of project plans and tender documents.
• Compare execution techniques to identify the most technically and commercially advantageous approach.
• Determine overall project costs by evaluating quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assess risk factors and select appropriate equipment and execution methods in collaboration with Project Engineers.
• Coordinate with specialized in-house departments for stability calculations, drawings, and other technical inputs.
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate tender submissions for offshore projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Several years of experience in tendering, estimating, or a related role within the construction or marine sector.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
• Analytical, methodical, and detail-oriented, with creativity and passion for problem-solving.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to offshore sites or international locations.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
