Senior Python Developer (Remote - India)

As a Senior Python Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering scalable, high-impact systems within a research and development-focused environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, ML engineers, and researchers, to implement solutions leveraging Generative AI and large language models. The role involves ownership of end-to-end project delivery, from architecture and development to deployment and monitoring, with a focus on building robust, cloud-based applications. You will contribute to technical discussions, define long-term strategies, and continuously improve engineering quality and operational efficiency. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and are motivated by solving complex technical challenges. The role supports remote work with occasional travel as required.

Accountabilities:

• Design and architect applications integrating a variety of cloud services, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain systems powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and other generative AI frameworks.
• Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with product, research, and engineering teams to deliver solutions that meet business and technical objectives.
• Participate in technical discussions, provide architecture recommendations, and contribute to long-term technology strategy.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and tools, proactively introducing improvements to enhance system performance and team productivity.

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience with strong Python proficiency.
• Experience developing applications leveraging LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or custom models).
• Practical experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, and API Gateway.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, backend systems, and service integration.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker or Kubernetes in production environments.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in remote and cross-functional teams.
