Senior Product Manager, Database Core (US-East Coast)

This role provides the opportunity to lead the strategy and evolution of a high-performance analytical database core, driving innovation at the heart of data processing technologies. As Senior Product Manager, you will define the roadmap for critical components such as the compiler, query engine, storage management, and interfaces, ensuring product development aligns with market needs and customer value. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and customers to guide decision-making, influence technical direction, and deliver impactful solutions. Accountabilities

·         Define and maintain the product strategy and roadmap for the database core, including compiler, engine, data management, and interface components.

·         Collaborate with engineering managers to prepare product documentation and guide development cycles.

·         Engage with customers to identify pain points, validate solutions, and drive real customer-centric innovation.

·         Manage internal stakeholders and align teams across engineering, product, and business functions.

·         Conduct market analysis to identify trends, differentiators, and opportunities for product leadership.

·         Represent the product at industry events and conferences, evangelizing core innovations.

·         5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in analytical databases, query engines, or big data platforms.

·         Deep technical understanding of compilers, query optimizers, engines, and storage management.

·         Strong customer-first mindset, with the ability to translate needs into actionable product outcomes.

·         Proven ability to take ownership of a product domain and drive its success end-to-end.

·         Preferred: Experience with both on-premises and cloud architectures.

·         Preferred: Hands-on SQL experience and familiarity with data science workflows.

·         Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

·         Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and global remote team environment.
