Accountabilities:

  • Design, prototype, and productionize privacy-focused product and infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and legal, to execute product and business strategies.
  • Provide technical leadership and integrate privacy safeguards into large-scale systems.
  • Lead and contribute across the full software development cycle: design, development, QA, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
  • Review code and designs, provide feedback on product specifications, and influence long-term technical direction.
  • Implement Privacy by Design practices across engineering and product development processes.
  • Mentor team members and share best practices for scalable, secure, and privacy-conscious engineering.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in fullstack software development.
  • Proficiency in at least one major backend language (Java, Kotlin, or Scala).
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Preact, Angular, Next, Vue, or Meteor).
  • Hands-on experience with GraphQL queries and mutations in production environments.
  • Strong understanding of high-scale web application architecture, APIs, data pipelines, and algorithms.
  • Passion for end-to-end product delivery, from ideation to experimentation and testing.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset to work with design, product, data science, infrastructure, policy, operations, and legal teams.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and privacy-enforcing infrastructure and tooling.
