Senior Fullstack Engineer (Remote - US)

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust web and backend systems that power innovative healthcare solutions for children with complex medical needs. This role focuses on building scalable, high-performance backend services, APIs, and integrations while supporting frontend and mobile interfaces as needed. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions that directly impact patient care. The ideal candidate is highly skilled across modern technologies, cloud platforms, and full-stack development, capable of delivering reliable, secure, and scalable systems in a fast-paced environment. Accountabilities:

·         Design, develop, and maintain backend applications, microservices, and APIs for scalable, high-performance systems.

·         Operate and maintain cloud infrastructure, primarily within AWS.

·         Implement third-party integrations and external APIs to enhance platform capabilities.

·         Ensure backend systems are secure, well-documented, and thoroughly tested.

·         Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align architecture with business goals.

·         Participate in cross-functional planning, sprint activities, and iterative product development.

·         Support various parts of the stack as needed to ensure seamless operation and integration.

·         5+ years of experience designing and implementing software in a full-stack environment.

·         Strong proficiency with NodeJS/TypeScript (or similar languages), React, and AWS.

·         Experience with service design patterns, data structures, and data integrations.

·         Solid understanding of web and mobile use cases, backend systems, and API design.

·         Experience building scalable, high-performance backend services.

·         Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of interacting with technical and non-technical audiences.

·         Experience in healthcare or virtual care is preferred; FHIR experience is a bonus.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
