We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive advanced analytics and revenue intelligence initiatives. In this role, you will leverage machine learning, statistical modeling, and data engineering skills to analyze structured and unstructured data, generate actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, improve data quality, and mentor junior team members on best practices. The role requires designing and implementing robust models, validating outcomes, and ensuring scalable integration of data solutions into production systems. You will have the opportunity to track the latest AI and data science innovations, adapting algorithms and approaches to optimize business performance. Accountabilities:

  • Lead data acquisition efforts and ensure data is properly formatted, cleaned, and accurately described.
  • Mentor team members on data cleaning, analysis, and modeling best practices.
  • Identify gaps in current data sets and facilitate onboarding of new data sources.
  • Develop and validate predictive and prescriptive models, ensuring methodological rigor and performance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and solve complex revenue-related problems using data-driven strategies.
  • Communicate insights and technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Monitor model performance, scalability, and integration into production systems, recommending improvements.
  • Track industry and academic developments to adapt algorithms and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year in data science or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in Python or R, SQL, and data workflow tools like Spark or Airflow.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, regression, classification, time-series analysis, causal inference, and experimental design.
  • Proven experience in analyzing structured and unstructured data and solving complex business problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in visualization and reporting tools such as Jupyter Notebooks, PowerBI, or Azure Data Explorer.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
