·         Plan, coordinate, and facilitate leadership coalition activities, including virtual meetings for workgroups, coalition partners, and leadership teams.

·         Advise on member engagement strategies, including outreach to hard-to-reach populations, and track participation and outcomes.

·         Lead recruitment for Steering Committee members and participants in community engagement studios.

·         Facilitate community engagement studios and related activities with culturally informed and accessible approaches.

·         Ensure project communications, materials, and activities are fully accessible and inclusive.

·         Guide project implementation, provide advisory support, and contribute to reporting, dissemination, and national-level presentations.

Requirements

·         Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., creative writing, communications) with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience.

·         Demonstrated expertise in written and spoken communication using speech-generating devices.

·         Authorship of documents, podcasts, or presentations for the AAC or disability advocacy communities.

·         Leadership experience on national or international AAC or disability organizations and committees.

·         Experience facilitating national meetings and setting agendas for consortiums involving AAC users.

·         Proven ability to work effectively with people who use or require AAC and communicate successfully across diverse populations.

·         Strong skills in organizing, collating, and sharing information in accessible formats, including digital shared drives.

·         Comfort with virtual platforms for hosting meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
