- Prepare bid documents, support contractor selection, and conduct pre-bid site conferences.
- Conduct field inspections and ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Collaborate with internal teams, landowners, and external partners to integrate engineering work into broader conservation programs.
- Create standard operating procedures, training materials, and templates for engineering services.
- Contribute to fee-for-service revenue generation by engaging clients and supporting business development efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) from an EAC/ABET-accredited program; Professional Engineer license required.
- Minimum of 10 years of civil engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on agricultural conservation or farm/ranch viability projects.
- Strong background in U.S. agricultural settings, ecological restoration, and water resources.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil3D (or similar), land surveying, and construction management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; multilingual abilities highly desired.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adept at problem-solving within collaborative team environments.
- Ability to travel to field sites, navigate rough terrain, and work in varying weather conditions.
