Sectra PACS - Modality Integration Specialist (Remote - US)

We are seeking a highly skilled Modality Integration Specialist to manage the integration of a large number of imaging modalities into a PACS system, ensuring seamless workflow and image fidelity. In this role, you will collaborate with site-level administrators, configure modality connections, and validate that images are transmitted accurately. The position involves hands-on problem-solving, testing, and troubleshooting, supporting both technical and clinical teams. This is an ideal role for someone detail-oriented, technically proficient, and experienced in medical imaging systems who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities:

·         Coordinate the integration of over 1,200 imaging modalities into the PACS system.

·         Ensure modalities correctly receive the Modality Worklist (MWL) and apply demographics accurately.

·         Validate that images are transmitted to the PACS system with full fidelity, accounting for modality-specific configurations.

·         Collaborate closely with site-level administrators to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize modality connections.

·         Support the testing, validation, and troubleshooting of all modality integrations.

·         Maintain clear documentation of integration processes, issues, and resolutions.

·         5+ years of experience with PACS modality integration or similar medical imaging systems.

·         Strong knowledge of Modality Worklist (MWL) and DICOM standards.

·         Hands-on experience with Sectra PACS or similar imaging platforms.

·         Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

·         Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and clinical staff.

·         Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple modality integrations simultaneously.
