We are seeking a skilled Security Systems Engineer to provide pre-sales and engineering support for advanced electronic security solutions. This role focuses on designing and implementing access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems for a variety of clients and projects. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution. The ideal candidate excels in Revit and AutoCAD design, has a strong understanding of electronic security technologies, and can translate client requirements into practical, scalable solutions. Accountabilities:

·         Design, develop, and implement security solutions for new and existing clients, including system installations, upgrades, and conversions.

·         Utilize Revit as the primary design tool, with AutoCAD proficiency for supporting certain projects.

·         Review architectural, electrical, telecommunications, and security engineering drawings, risers, device schedules, and detail plans.

·         Create comprehensive solution documentation, including drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and design summaries.

·         Provide technical support to internal and on-site teams, ensuring projects meet client expectations and industry standards.

·         Assist in RFIs/RFPs and provide technical input for proposals.

·         Maintain awareness of emerging electronic security technologies (ACS, IDS, CCTV, biometrics, etc.) and recommend best-in-class solutions.

·         3–7 years of experience in electronic security system design and implementation.

·         Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience in the industry.

·         Strong expertise in access control and video surveillance system planning.

·         Professional certifications or training with leading security systems (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, C-Cure, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Milestone) preferred.

·         Proficiency in Revit (primary focus) and AutoCAD; knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Office is a plus.

·         Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.

·         Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts and collaborating with clients and stakeholders.

·         Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks without supervision.
