As the Regional Sales Director you will spearhead our sales initiatives across a diverse portfolio of luxury wellness products, focusing on expanding our market presence and driving significant revenue growth. You will lead a dynamic team and be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, optimizing dealer performance, and executing regional sales strategies to achieve our ambitious growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities of Regional Sales Director:
- Lead a team of Sales Managers within the West Region.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the Western region.
- Assists Company and Regional Managers in securing new Retail locations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers; attends dealer site meetings to review facilities, current activities, and makes recommendations regarding possible alternatives.
- Compiles company statistics and evaluates sales performance on a periodic basis.
- Reviews findings of evaluations with Company, Sales Manager and Dealer accordingly. Makes recommendations and initiates plans to help Sales Managers and Dealers meet targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborates with Sales and Marketing in the development and implementation of product presentation, training programs, printed materials, and other projects.
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management; ensuring fiscal location and unit sales goals are met.
- Conduct training sessions to elevate team skills in strategic sales techniques and product knowledge.
- At least 50-60% travel, remote regional office or home location for remainder. Field travel includes overnights, travel by car, train and plane to best balance cost and time commitments.
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation is based on experience: $120,000+ including potential for bonus.
Requirements
Requirements of Regional Sales Director
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years field (outside) sales experience with demonstrated improvement in sales year over year.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in a Regional Leadership position.
- Dealer network knowledge base highly preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven analytical skills and experience with CRM tools.
- Must reside within the West Region (AZ, CA, WA, OR, CO, MT, WY, UT, NM, NV). Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
