QA Engineer II (Remote - India)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Engineer II to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of critical software platforms. In this role, you will design and execute comprehensive test strategies, collaborate closely with developers and DevOps teams, and champion QA standards across the software development lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to work on both front-end and back-end systems, including cloud-based and containerized applications, in a hybrid work environment. Accountabilities:

·         Design and implement test cases and suites to validate functional, performance, security, usability, and exploratory aspects of software.

·         Define, enforce, and continuously improve QA standards and processes in collaboration with engineering teams.

·         Maintain traceability and coverage of requirements, ensuring tests align with specifications and automation best practices.

·         Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate security into the development process through code reviews, pair testing, and continuous feedback.

·         Support user story definition, acceptance criteria validation, and documentation of QA processes.

·         Lead knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and training to promote QA best practices.

·         Contribute to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes and technical documentation.

·         5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.

·         Strong experience in back-end and front-end test automation using tools such as Jest, Mocha, xUnit, NUnit, Postman, RestSharp, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber, SpecFlow, or Allure.

·         Experience testing RESTful applications, cloud technologies, containerized environments, and databases.

·         Familiarity with test management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO).

·         Experience with performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing (Sonar) is desirable.

·         Proficiency in Agile development and DevOps methodologies.

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.

·         Ability to work independently, define test strategies, and document results.

·         Nice-to-have: knowledge of .NET, JavaScript, microservices, cloud platforms (Azure), authentication/authorization mechanisms, and Entity Framework.
