Job Purpose
We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager II (Master Scheduler) to join the HI HAP/EDW DDI Project team. This role is critical to the project’s success as it enters a decisive stage focused on the delivery of remaining milestones and ongoing client relationship management. The successful candidate will provide expert-level project scheduling, resource planning, and risk/issue management to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery across multiple workstreams.
Requirements
- Manage a detailed integrated project schedule across 10 active workstreams, collaborating with State partners to maintain alignment and accuracy.
- Set up and maintain predecessor and successor tasks and milestones to ensure full schedule traceability.
- Perform weekly schedule submissions, ensuring compliance with all Federal project scheduling standards and checks.
- Conduct resource leveling and monitor key performance indicators such as CPI (Cost Performance Index), SPI (Schedule Performance Index), and BEI (Baseline Execution Index).
- Track and manage project contract deliverables and ensure accurate artifact submission to the State repository.
- Provide overall project management support, including risk and issue tracking, mitigation planning, and stakeholder communication.
- Lead and attend approximately 25 standing meetings weekly, coordinating with technical and functional teams to monitor progress and resolve roadblocks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of Microsoft Project experience managing complex, multi-stream project schedules.
- Minimum 5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience across all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- 2+ years of experience supporting Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) solutions.
- 2+ years of experience working on State Government IT projects.
- PMP Certification (Project Management Professional).
- PMI Project Scheduler Certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.
- Background in Healthcare Information Exchange (HIE), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), or broader healthcare industry systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio for process documentation and visualization.
