Motion Design (Remote - US)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Motion Design Fellow in the United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative storyteller passionate about visual communication and animation. As a Motion Design Fellow, you’ll collaborate with talented videographers and producers to bring stories to life through compelling motion graphics and original animations. You’ll contribute to videos shared across major digital platforms, helping audiences engage with diverse topics such as art, design, travel, and culture. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience in digital storytelling and visual media while working in a collaborative, fast-paced creative environment.

Accountabilities

·         Design and produce high-quality animations and motion graphics that enhance video storytelling across web and social platforms.

·         Translate scripts and concepts into engaging visual narratives using animation, typography, and motion effects.

·         Create supporting visual assets such as maps, charts, templates, and infographics.

·         Collaborate closely with video producers and editors during pre-production, production, and post-production stages.

·         Work efficiently under tight deadlines to deliver polished, visually consistent results.

·         Contribute to the creative vision by proposing innovative animation ideas and design improvements.

·         Strong skills in Adobe After Effects, with proficiency in Premiere and Photoshop.

·         Experience with Illustrator or other Adobe Creative Suite tools is a plus.

·         Demonstrated passion for storytelling through animation and visual design.

·         Ability to quickly storyboard and animate from scripts for multi-platform content.

·         Familiarity with video formats for social media (YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.).

·         Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

·         Experience in video editing or with cameras (Canon, Panasonic, Sony) is an advantage.

·         Strong communication and proofreading skills.

·         Enthusiasm for digital journalism and audience engagement through creative visual storytelling.
