We are seeking a highly motivated Machine Learning Scientist to develop cutting-edge AI solutions in healthcare. You will work on research, development, and deployment of machine learning models for real-time clinical decision support, patient monitoring, and alerting systems. The role offers a unique opportunity to impact maternal health outcomes, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, researchers, and healthcare experts. You will work on multimodal medical data, designing models that address high-frequency and time-series data challenges, and help translate complex data into actionable clinical insights. This position combines advanced machine learning research with hands-on implementation in real-world healthcare applications, providing both intellectual challenge and tangible impact.

Accountabilities:

·         Research, develop, and deploy machine learning methodologies for real-time healthcare AI systems.

·         Analyze multimodal medical data, including high-frequency signals and time-series data, to predict clinical risks.

·         Collaborate with software engineers and healthcare professionals to integrate ML models into clinical workflows.

·         Rapidly iterate on models, perform evaluations, and optimize solutions for accuracy, speed, and reliability.

·         Contribute to publications, documentation, and presentations of ML research and outcomes.

·         Maintain best practices for code quality, model reproducibility, and performance monitoring.

Requirements

·         Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field.

·         Proven track record with relevant publications and research contributions.

·         5+ years of professional programming experience, with expert Python skills.

·         Proficiency with ML frameworks: NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow.

·         Experience with time-series, high-frequency data, prediction modeling, and imbalanced datasets.

·         Strong ability to work independently on unstructured problems while collaborating effectively with teams.

·         Preferred: experience with medical data, electronic health records, biosensor data, real-time ML deployment, cloud environments, and data engineering pipelines.
