This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Information Security Architect in the United States.
We are seeking an experienced Lead Information Security Architect to guide enterprise security initiatives across diverse technology environments. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and maintain security requirements for enterprise systems and internally developed applications. You will proactively identify vulnerabilities, design robust security architectures, and ensure secure software development practices. The ideal candidate thrives in a hybrid environment, possesses deep technical knowledge of cloud, on-prem, and SaaS infrastructures, and excels at translating complex security requirements into actionable solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory standards.
Accountabilities:
- Serve as a senior technical advisor on information security matters, partnering with IT and development teams to define and implement security requirements.
- Analyze enterprise systems and environments (on-premises, cloud, SaaS) to detect vulnerabilities and recommend solutions that align with best practices, compliance, and applicable laws.
- Develop and implement security architecture plans for enterprise applications and systems, ensuring alignment with business strategies and project objectives.
- Conduct threat modeling, security testing, and secure code reviews for applications ranging from simple to highly complex.
- Ensure adherence to secure software development lifecycles, including design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate security measures without hindering business functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Graduate degree preferred) or equivalent experience (8+ years in Information Security).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT and 5 years in Information Security or Application Security.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture, threat modeling, and secure software development practices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security, including Azure (AZ-500, AZ-305 certifications preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CISSP preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels.
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
