This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Landscape Architect II in United States.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful land development projects while working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. You will apply advanced landscape architecture principles to create functional, aesthetically appealing, and sustainable designs across urban, residential, commercial, and recreational projects. Working closely with engineers, architects, and clients, you will assist with design execution, permitting, construction documents, and on-site evaluations. This position allows for professional growth, hands-on project involvement, and engagement with a variety of challenging and rewarding assignments. You will be empowered to produce high-quality work while supporting less experienced team members and contributing to the success of diverse projects.
Accountabilities:
- Assist in executing landscape architectural design on assigned projects within multidisciplinary teams.
- Prepare hardscape and landscape plans, including entitlement, site plan, and construction documents.
- Conduct plant inventory, evaluations, and site inspections to ensure alignment with design specifications.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and architects to address project needs, code research, and permitting requirements.
- Review work produced by junior staff and provide guidance on technical policies and procedures.
- Support engineering projects, prepare cost estimates, and coordinate with contractors and suppliers.
- Participate in assembling Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), and Construction Documents (CD), and present designs to relevant authorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in a landscape architecture studio or comparable internship experience.
- Licensed Landscape Architect registration required.
- Experience in design, preparation of SD/DD/CD documents, materials selection, planting design, and irrigation design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in 3D modeling tools such as SketchUp, Civil3D, Lumion, Land FX, or GIS/ArcView is a plus.
- Knowledge of site design principles, grading, drainage, construction methods, and regional planting materials.
- Strong illustration, rendering, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
