Job Description

PSI is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Landlord Attorney to join our legal team in Los Angeles. This can be remote/hybrid. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and provide top-notch legal services specifically in landlord-tenant law. The Landlord Attorney will represent clients in various matters related to property management, lease negotiations, evictions, and dispute resolution. We are looking for someone who is passionate about real estate law and has experience navigating complex legal issues that arise in landlord-tenant relationships. In this role, you will have the chance to build strong relationships with clients while advocating for their rights and interests.

Responsibilities

  • Advise landlord clients on legal rights and obligations within landlord-tenant relationships.
  • Draft and review leases, rental agreements, and related legal documents.
  • Represent clients in evictions and other litigation matters in court.
  • Assist clients in resolving disputes through negotiation and alternative dispute resolution methods.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide educational resources and training to clients regarding landlord-tenant laws and best practices.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • 2+ years of experience in landlord-tenant law or related practice areas.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
