We are seeking a skilled IT Training Specialist to deliver technology training programs that enable employees to perform at their best. This role involves designing, developing, and facilitating training sessions using a variety of delivery methods, including instructor-led classes, eLearning, webinars, and documentation. The specialist will work with both office-based and remote teams, ensuring consistent understanding and effective use of software and systems. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong communication and instructional skills, and is capable of quickly learning new technologies to support end-user adoption. This position provides opportunities to contribute to process improvements, develop educational materials, and support organizational learning goals in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Analyze business and technology needs in collaboration with production and support teams to determine training requirements.
  • Design and develop custom courses, materials, and job aids tailored to user skill levels and learning objectives.
  • Deliver training sessions to home office personnel, remote users, and field staff using multiple delivery methods.
  • Maintain technical expertise in software applications and stay current with technology trends.
  • Assist with the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) and support system users.
  • Provide backup support to the Help Desk when needed.
  • Set up and troubleshoot remote training classrooms, including hardware, connectivity, and audiovisual equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience providing IT training, or 5 years of equivalent IT training experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 7+ OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, job aids, and eLearning content.
  • Familiarity with LMS administration and content authoring software.
  • Technical skills in remote assistance software, case management, policy management, billing systems, and imaging systems.
  • Ability to set up and manage remote classroom hardware and network connectivity.
  • Excellent communication, business writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for day or overnight assignments and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.
  • Commitment to professional development and IT training certification is preferred.
