We are seeking a highly skilled IT Data Quality Senior Engineer to lead initiatives that ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of critical data across enterprise systems. In this role, you will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and enforce data quality standards, develop data validation processes, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in data governance, analysis, and quality assurance, and is motivated to drive improvements that impact business decisions, regulatory compliance, and overall system performance. This position offers the opportunity to shape data quality strategy within a supportive and digitally enabled work environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Define, implement, and monitor enterprise data quality standards and policies.
  • Develop and maintain data validation rules, metrics, and reporting to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to identify data quality issues and implement corrective solutions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of data anomalies and design preventive measures to maintain high-quality data.
  • Support data governance initiatives, including data lineage, master data management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members on data quality best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in data quality management, data governance, or related IT roles.
  • Strong knowledge of database systems, SQL, ETL processes, and data profiling tools.
  • Experience with data validation frameworks, analytics, and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to financial data is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
  • Ability to travel onsite once per month to the East Petersburg, PA location.
