This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an IT Administrator in the United States.

We are seeking a proactive IT Administrator to support internal technology needs in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. This role involves managing IT equipment, software, and systems for employees while ensuring seamless onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing technical support. You will collaborate closely with staff across all levels, maintaining IT infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and overseeing SaaS applications, network systems, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-service-oriented mindset. This is an opportunity to play a key role in keeping critical business operations running smoothly while contributing to team projects and continuous improvements in IT processes.

Accountabilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain computers and software for employees, ensuring security and compliance standards.
  • Perform IT onboarding for new employees and offboarding for departing staff, including provisioning and de-provisioning accounts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for end-users, both remotely and in-person, across PCs, mobile devices, and software systems.
  • Manage company SaaS applications, including Office 365, Box, RingCentral, Slack, Duo, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and perform audits to ensure accuracy and accountability of hardware and software resources.
  • Assist with AV support for webinars and company meetings, as well as participate in IT team projects and system upgrades.
  • Monitor and maintain network, cloud, and security systems, applying knowledge of networking, Active Directory/Entra ID, Intune, and remote connectivity tools.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role supporting 80–100 users.
  • Strong understanding of PC hardware, desktop operating systems, and mobile device management (MDM).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, including switches, routers, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Office 365 Exchange, Active Directory/Entra ID, Intune, and virtualization tools (VMware/Hyper-V).
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Certifications such as A+, Network+, or Security+ preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work with staff at all organizational levels.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
