Internship: Social Media Intern to Founder & CEO

Location: Remote
Reporting to: VP of Brand Marketing

tarte cosmetics is seeking enthusiastic rising seniors from accredited colleges/universities who are eager to kickstart their marketing careers with an internship at tarte cosmetics! As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting our Founder & CEO, working across marketing, content, and brand initiatives while learning directly from industry leaders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day social media tasks including: concepting, filming, and editing TikToks, Instagram Reels, Snapchat, and other short-form content, community management, content scheduling, and trend monitoring.
• Support creator gifting, sendouts, and storefront updates (ShopMy, Amazon, Snapchat, and link-sharing platforms)
• Help with general administrative tasks such as organizing schedules, preparing materials, and maintaining content trackers
• Create Canva collages and visual assets to support marketing, social, and content initiatives
• Participate in team brainstorms to generate ideas for upcoming campaigns, events, and activations

Requirements

• Must be a current student of an accredited college, rising seniors preferred
• Familiarity with social media platforms (TikTok/ Instagram/ Pinterest), Canva, storefront tools, and linking platforms (ShopMy, Amazon, Snapchat, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills
• A collaborative, flexible, and proactive approach to tasks
