Job Title: Public Adjuster/Insurance Adjuster - Remote work
Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Public Adjuster to assist policyholders in evaluating and negotiating insurance claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to advocating on behalf of clients to ensure they receive fair compensation for their losses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate insurance policies to determine coverage and assess claim validity
- Conduct thorough investigations and documentation of claims, including site inspections and interviews
- Compile and submit comprehensive claim reports and documentation to insurance companies
- Negotiate settlements with insurance company representatives on behalf of policyholders
- Provide expert advice to clients throughout the claims process, ensuring they understand their rights and options
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all claim-related activities
- Stay updated on industry regulations, trends, and best practices to effectively advocate for clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an insurance adjuster, with a focus on public adjusting
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims processes
- Excellent analytical and investigative skills
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology tools
Preferred Skills:
- Professional certification such as Certified Professional Public Adjuster (CPPA) or Senior Professional Public Adjuster (SPPA)
- Experience in handling large and complex claims
- Knowledge of local and international insurance regulations and standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
