Location: Remote with occasional travel to Birmingham (UK-based) no more than once per quarter and for key projects | Team: Love Finance – Platform Squad

Salary: £75,000 to £80,000 per annum plus annual bonus

At Love Finance, we’re building a platform that makes business finance quicker, simpler, and far less painful. We’re scaling fast, and the Platform Squad is right at the heart of it. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for two Fullstack Developers to help us shape the backbone of our product. You’ll be joining a small, focused squad where your work will be seen, felt, and valued.

The squad

You’ll be working closely with:

• A Lead Engineer
• A Junior Engineer
• A Product Owner
• A Product Designer
  ...and two new Midweight–Senior Engineers (hopefully one of them is you).

It’s a lean, cross-functional setup that gives everyone ownership and space to do their best work.

The work

• Building, improving, and scaling features across the stack.
• Working with Node.js, Python, and Flutter.
• Deploying and running services on Google Cloud Platform.
• Keeping things tidy and collaborative with Git.
• Using Linear to keep tickets clear and workflow simple.
• Working lean – just enough process to keep us aligned, never enough to slow us down.
• Owning your work and having the freedom to get things done without micromanagement.

What we’re looking for

• 3–5 years’ experience as a fullstack developer.
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js) and Python.
• Familiarity with Flutter or an eagerness to learn.
• Experience deploying and maintaining services on GCP.
• Comfort with Git and modern workflows.
• Someone who enjoys autonomy, but also values working closely with others to solve problems.
