We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Lead Software Engineer to drive the development of robust, secure, and scalable payment systems. In this role, you will lead a distributed engineering team, collaborating with cross-functional partners including product, design, finance, and algorithms. You will plan, build, and maintain software solutions that improve client payment experiences, optimize operational efficiency, and support financial compliance. The role demands strong technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor engineers while ensuring high-quality software delivery. You will be instrumental in shaping engineering culture, guiding project execution, and influencing technical decisions that impact a global user base. Accountabilities:

·        Lead the design, development, and maintenance of payment processing systems and features.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver complex projects on time.

·        Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to foster growth within the engineering team.

·        Break down projects into actionable milestones and communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.

·        Ensure software quality and sustainability through TDD, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices.

·        Contribute to the evolution of distributed services architecture, technical design, and problem-solving processes.

Requirements

·        5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including Ruby on Rails and modern web stacks (Golang, PostgreSQL, GraphQL).

·        1+ year of experience in technical leadership, including driving decisions and guiding project goals.

·        Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks (Next.js, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS).

·        Experience in payment processing systems, integrations, and financial compliance processes.

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills, collaboration in distributed teams, and mentoring abilities.

·        Ability to work independently, take initiative, and balance multiple priorities in a remote environment.

·        Familiarity with scalable, resilient service architectures and modern software development practices.
