Front End Engineer (React, CSS) (Remote - US)

You will influence architecture and design decisions, troubleshoot production issues, and mentor junior engineers. Accountabilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance front-end web applications using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Collaborate with design and backend teams to implement scalable and performant solutions.
• Participate in architecture and design decisions to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, optimizing performance and usability.
• Lead and mentor a small team of UI or full-stack engineers, providing guidance and feedback.
• Ensure code quality through test-driven development, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices.
• Work with enterprise integration services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for front-end systems, processes, and best practices.

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of software application development experience, or equivalent experience (High School Diploma/GED and 14+ years acceptable).
• Hands-on experience with React (16+), Redux or Mobx store management, Node.js, TypeScript, ES6, CSS3, CSS preprocessors, and grid layouts.
• Technical lead experience for medium to large projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile/iterative delivery methodologies.
• Experience with TDD, CICD, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
• Skilled in debugging and troubleshooting production issues.
• Familiarity with RESTful web services, transactional and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Docker, and Jenkins.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bonus: experience in regulated financial organizations.
