This role is responsible for driving franchise growth and expanding the network of independent operators and multi-site organizations within a specific segment. The Franchise Development Director will identify and engage prospective franchise partners, guiding them through the onboarding process and ensuring long-term operational success. You will act as a trusted advisor, building relationships and providing consultative support while collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth transitions. This position requires strong business acumen, industry expertise, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Travel is an integral part of the role, providing exposure to new markets and franchise operations. The role offers the opportunity to directly impact business growth, franchisee success, and regional market expansion.

Accountabilities:

  • Identify, cultivate, and secure new franchise partners, including independent operators and regional multi-site organizations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospective franchisees, communicating the value of the franchise system, resources, and support programs.
  • Manage the full pipeline from lead generation to signed agreements, collaborating with operations, legal, and onboarding teams.
  • Develop and execute market expansion strategies to target high-priority regions and growth opportunities.
  • Represent the franchise network at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to build awareness and relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding, integration, and operational support for new franchisees.

Requirements

  • Previous ownership, general management, or senior leadership experience within the collision repair industry or a related multi-site operation.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of operational, financial, and growth drivers in franchise environments.
  • Proven consultative selling, business development, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities with the capacity to influence and advise franchise partners.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, preferably based centrally for travel efficiency.
  • Hands-on experience in operating or managing a collision repair facility is a strong advantage.
