Finance Manager/Controller

We are looking for a Finance Manager/Controller who will oversee the financial operations of an organization, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning. This role is vital in managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and supporting business decisions to drive profitability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
2. Accounting and Reporting:
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
3. Compliance and Audit:
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews.
4. Team Management:
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams.
• Develop team skills and improve departmental efficiency.
5. Strategic Financial Support:
• Provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Evaluate financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
6. Cash Flow and Treasury Management:
• Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
• Oversee investments, banking relationships, and funding arrangements.

• 5+ years in bookkeeping/accounting
• 2+ years Management Budgeting and Projections
• Proven track record in managerial or controller positions.
• Cashflow management

Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
• Quickbooks online, Quickbooks desktop, goflow
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
